Trouble – Bobby Thompson (feat Ryan Miller)

About this Song

Sometimes I like to write songs while watching a music video or movie to get inspiration.

I wrote this song while watching the music video for the song Single by New Kids on the Block and Ne-yo.

I wrote this song with Justin Timberlake in mind, hence the montage.

I can picture a couple of other artists singing it as well, but I’d like to hear Justin do this song.

He hasn’t called me yet.

You Are My Sunshine (Acapella Remix) – for My Nephews

About this Song

When I was a little kid, my mom would always sing to us.

You Are My Sunshine was one of the songs I remember her singing, so I’ve always liked it.

One day, awhile back, I decided to sing my own version of it, to R&B-it-up a bit.

Yesterday, my friend Mary suggested that I record it, so I did.

Thanks, Mary.

I also decided it would be nice to place the song to photographs of my nephews (I don’t have any nieces yet), and so I did.

So, the song my mom once sang to me, I will now sing to my nephews (I don’t have any kids yet).

This song is dedicated to my nephews.. Orlando, Sam, Jonah, Jacob, Levi, and Colin.. Love you.

And no I didn’t use photoshop to touch them up.  They really are that cute.

Teach Me How to Be a Kid Again – for James Calihan

About this Song

Ever had a friend that always made you laugh?

As you get older, it becomes more and more difficult to appreciate the art of having a good time.

And for that reason, every good time becomes that much more important.

This song and video is dedicated to my friend, James Calihan, who is always able to remind me what it’s like to be a kid again…

and what it’s like to have a good time.

In the video, you will see me filming James while he worked on his truck for 8 straight hours in the rain. I was either in the house or in his truck the whole time.. keeping dry.

Finally, when it stopped raining, I walked outside and kicked over his expensive tool box, which we both thought was pretty amusing.

Although he was drenched and struggling to fix his truck, James had fun the whole time. And although I was being a pain, he didn’t care because I was having fun.

That’s the kind of guy he is.

This song is just a chorus, but I think it says it all.

She’s Everything – Bobby Thompson

About this Song

I wrote this song, “She’s Everything,” back in 2005, and recorded this video in 2007.

My sister Faith was the steady hand videotaping.

Thanks, Faith.
